Norwegian Slippers

June really likes this method of creating Norwegian slippers!  A waste yarn is used to mark foot opening and “in the round” stranded knitting continues throughout the foot.  Later, the waste yarn is removed and stitches are used to knit the cuff.  Very clever!  The book,  Knitting Scandinavian Slippers and Socks, is out of print but digital copies are available via Ravelry for $16.99.  Materials:  Two circular needles size US 4 (both 24” or one 24’ & one 32”) & two contrasting colors of Berroco Vintage.
