Reading Knitting Instructions

Do you take one look at knitting patterns and say “no way”?  Does the knitting language make your head spin?  In the class, Darlene will take you through the basics of reading a knitting pattern including size selection, understanding schematics, choosing materials, gauge, and common abbreviations and terminology.  With the internet, anyone can put a knitting pattern for sale, irregardless of the accuracy of the pattern.  After this class, you will be able to weed out patterns that are written well from those you should avoid.
