Intermediate Rigid Heddle Weaving
This class is for students who know some of the basics of rigid heddle weaving but want to explore more things they can do on a rigid heddle loom. Georg will help students plan a project. The Weaver's Idea Book: Creative Cloth on a Rigid Heddle Loom is a great book to get ideas. You can weave a bag, poncho, table runner, really anything you can imagine.
If bringing own loom, make sure it is a rigid heddle and is no bigger than 20". Check with Georg if you are uncertain.
Students have the option to rent a Sample It Loom for $25. Please call/text the store at 847-390-1013 to reserved a rental.
