My First Baby Sweater (knit in person)
Learn how to knit a seamless, v-neck cardigan. You can choose from sizes newborn, 6 months and 12 months. Students will learn how to make a "cheat sheet" to keep their numbers on track. Other skills include increasing, putting sleeves on hold, a stretchy bind off and working on double points.
Choose one skein of dk to worsted weight yarn. You need about 250 yards if you want to make a 12 month size. Darlene’s sample is in Koigu Jasmine.
