Collective Unconscious Free CAL (hybrid format)

An adjustable, crescent shaped granny shawl perfect for that special skein of sock yarn or handspun. This relaxing project is a quick one because it’s so addictive you won’t want to put it down.

Looks great in solid colours, stripes, gradients, speckle dyed, tonal yarns and handspun!

According to Swiss Psychiatrist Carl Jung, the Collective Unconscious is the part of the unconscious mind that is derived from ancestral memory and experience. When working through my psychology degree, I always liked the theories put forth by Jung and his analytical psychology. I thought this concept would be a fitting title as I believe fibre arts of all kinds are a mix of ancestral memory and experience. This gives you something to think about while you work away on your shawl.

Both written instruction and charts.

Collective Unconscious pattern.

Materials:  420 of fingering weight yarn (Darlene is using Wonderland’s Blossom in Mad Hatter.  Yes it is a sport weight, but it will work), a size H hook and Ravelry pattern.

All in person participants must "Zoomalong" with their own device.  We can set you up with our WiFi.
