This simple top down pattern is an adorable update on the poncho. Sleeves are created with simple seaming.
Gauge: 20sts = 4” on a us 7 or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished Measurements: Measurement are after blocking
- Infant: 18” wide through the body / 10” drop from the shoulder.
- Toddler: 20” wide through the body / 11” drop from the shoulder.
- Child: 22” wide through the body / 12” drop from the shoulder.
Sizing:
- Baby (6 mos.- 2 years)
- Toddler (3 - 5)
- Child (6 - 8)
Materials Used: 280, 375, 500 total yards of a light worsted weight yarn
If striping, as pictured:
- 90 (115, 140) yards of edging color
- 95 (130, 180) yards of each striping color A and B
- Size 6 16” circular (neckline)
- Size 7 16” and 29” or 32” circular needles
- Note: This pattern works well with an interchangeable needle set allowing you to change needle size and cord length when necessary.
- 4 markers, one of a different color.
